I would like to see the Free Agent draft moved from starting in early June, 3 months before the season, to mid July, 6 weeks before the season.
My reasoning is that it gives us a better chance of knowing where NFL free agents have ended up, and where players stand on depth charts. Also a better grasp of how off season injuries have healed.
Baseball started one month before the season this year, as a comparison.
