Giants of Jazz sends: 2017 2nd round draft pick and $5 in 2017 cap
Whales sends: Kenley Jansen (1Y/$13.25) and $20.75 in 2016 cap
Giants of Jazz agrees to this trade. The injury bug has struck my team and in order to stay competitive I need to make some moves. Thats pretty tough to do with only .50 in cap. This gives me a solid closer and an extra $7.50 in cap to work with. Losing a 2nd and future cap is never a good thing, but it seemed like a fair deal to me and a move I needed to make in order to keep my playoff hopes alive.
