That not what the rule book says:
5.4.3 A forced call-ups contract counts against the cap of the following season after the end of the current season. For example, player is called up at the completion of the 2013 season, his cap hit and one year contract would apply to the 2014 season.

I believe he only technically becomes a forced callup once the roster rollover takes place. Until then he is not "forced" as you can still keep him on your rookie bench. Not 100% sure but this is my understanding of the rule

will show on this cap because it the sheet sees it as current.it only counts when the roster rolls over which will be happening sometime this month
