Hi guys,
Sorry to do this, but I took over this team mid-season to help the coalition out. The reason I didn't sign up to draft a team in this league in the first place was because I knew that it would be too much to be doing contract teams in all 4 major sports, as well as 3 standard dynasty basketball teams (all FSC) and 5 fantasy hockey teams (both FSC and external). The NBA season overlaps almost entirely with the NHL's, so the way I see it, I need to trim down on both sports. I'm a lifer in the NHL contract league, so I'm bowing out of this basketball contract league. I held the fort for the balance of this season, and I feel that right now is the best timing for a new guy to take over. The new GM will have the entire off-season to shape the team to his/her liking.
Thanks for the fun season guys, I did enjoy making some changes to the roster and trying to keep this team competitive. In the end, as I always knew it would be, I just had a few too many fantasy sports commitments this season, and don't want to be spread so thin next season. I also foresee a bigger workload at work (real life, ugh!) next season (starting in September).
I hope you have an easy time of finding a replacement, and that you all have a great 2016-17 NBA season. See you in standard dynasty action (assuming our standard leagues survive the rollover this off season).

Stark, Thanks for letting us know now about your decision. You are one of the top players on the site and we will miss you in Contract Basketball. I will start recruiting a new player right away. Again thanks for doing this the right way and giving us time to find a replacement. DE

Thanks DE. In an ideal world I would win the lottery, quit my job, and just do this all day! But unfortunately, I do need to free myself up a bit. I figured that giving you max time to find a good replacement was the way to go.
