Because i know we are all working through the draft. I thought this would be a great place to draw everyone's attention. please note that the draft in 2015 the picks were not included on the roster until rosters rolled over. over the years we have expanded the minor roster from 12 to 15. i believe between the 2014 offseason and beginning of the 2015 season. A complete draft list will be compiled shortly so everyone knows the exact 5 round order. Once the roster rollover happens this will be where all 2015 draft picks will be shown as the new sheet won’t the 2015 picks. 2015 Free Agency will begin on Sunday, August 23 at 12:00pm EST. This could be moved up earlier if the draft goes quick. Also we will try out free agency with a 24 hour clock instead of 36 as I think we have 16 GMs who are dedicated to this league. We can't rollover if you have more players on your active roster then the sheets allow which as you know for Hockey is 24. Please note the dates were set out 2 weeks in advance on our website, we did give ample notice of our proceedings so that is not the issue either. With regards to your concerns raised in the chat I would like to address this here so there is no confusion. The rollover will not happen before the draft. However, to create space for drafting minors you can promote a player to your active roster IF: 1. He has met the minimum requirements, 26 games played in the NHL as per 4.3.3 of rulebook. 2. AND there is space on your active roster. Otherwise we will not be able to rollover your roster, plus you are not allowed to have a 25th player on your active roster regardless. Otherwise, you are of course free to trade a minor or release a minor from your minor league roster. Please DM me in GroupMe if there are questions! |
