Important Offseason Dates

Many of you have been wondering when the draft and free agency will begin. I am finally prepared to announce that the draft will officially begin on Sunday January 29th at 12:00 PM EST. I will make another post when it gets closer about some specific rules in regards to the draft but I wanted to let you all know this is when it will begin. Begin preparing and making your lists now so you will be ready by then.

I am also announcing that free agency will officially begin on Sunday February 26th at 12:00 PM EST. Here too I will make another post when it gets closer to that time but for know, mark this date in your calendars.

* Important notice: The deadline to submit your roster re-signings and any potential buyouts will be three days after the completion of the rookie draft. Once the draft is completed, I will repeat this on the GroupMe contract baseball group chat to remind everyone. A rough estimate should be sometime in the first week of February but the specific date will ultimately be dictated by the speed of the draft.

I forgot to include this but I will also hoping to get the rules survey out sometime this upcoming week. I will make a new post about the survey and you will have a week to complete it from the time it is posted. If you have any proposals at all, send them to me asap before it is too late

Thanks for reminding me Whales. Forced call ups must be made at the time roster re-signings are done. Ill post the rules for the draft next week. well before the draft begins so everyone is familiar with the rules
