Hope everyone has been well and is preparing to have a nice holiday period,
With the MLB offseason already fully in swing and it being middle of December, our offseason is about to begin moving forward. Before we can proceed, it is first important to confirm which managers are returning. I would like everyone to return and everyone is more than welcome to come back should they so choose. Please comment below if you would like to return to the league for the 2017 season. You have 1 week to confirm that you will be returning. If by Monday December 26 you have not responded, I will send one warning notice/email to the managers directly. If I do not hear back within 2 days after sending this email, the manager will be replaced. You are all warned. The offseason is going to pick up fast, and we cannot be held in limbo by managers who do not confirm their placement.
The next important issue to discuss is rule changes. Each year managers vote on rule change proposals submitted by members of the league. In case some have not noticed, I have added a tab on each contract league page called "Rule Change Proposals". If there is a rule you would like modified, added, deleted, etc, please post it under this section. Just like the manager renewals, submissions for rule changes will be open until Monday December 26. As of now, there have yet to be any proposals submitted. Now is your time to speak up and suggest stuff you would like to see changed. If you do not make proposals, please do not complain during the season about rules you may be unsatisfied with. I will be collecting all the proposals and then sending out a private ballot for members to vote on these proposals. It is important to note that just because you submit something, does not mean that it will necessarily be voted on. Most will, but if I feel something would be detrimental to the league or the network, I cannot put it up for vote.
