When Comissioners autorenew leagues on Yahoo, the system puts all the teams back in the league (they do not have to accept an invite). This is a horrible situation as we do not know who is returning and who isn't.
I propose for all standard leagues across the 4 sports, individual Commissioners are informed NOT to autorenew leagues before leagues opening on Yahoo (For hockey/basketball they opened these Late August early/September, so Commissioners can be briefly informed in early August)
What needs to be done is untick autorenew on Yahoo, and rather invites need to be sent to all the managers in the league last year. When you're on the screen it's simple to see (hard to explain though). I can walk anyone through it if they need help.
That way you know who actually wants to play based on who accepts the invite. As usual, we know some people have Yahoo sports notifications blocked/filtered so if you notice after a week or two some managers have not accepted an invite you can directly mail them through Yahoo mail (so this will not block on their end)

This will be stated in all rulebooks for NO on autorenew.
