Here are the results of the 2024 off-season rule change proposal vote. 11 votes (2/3 of the league) are needed for a proposal to pass.

Question 1: Moving the rookie draft to after the NFL draft

   - Rule passes 11 yes to 5 no

Question 2: Eliminating Round 5 of the rookie draft

   - Rule passes 11 yes to 5 no

Question 3: Increasing rookie draft pick values

   - Rule passes 11 yes to 5 no

Question 4: Eliminating the K position

    - Rule does not pass 8 yes to 8 no

Question 5: Automatically changing a retired players contract to 1 year

    - Rule passes 11 yes to 5 no



4 of the 5 questions passed. The K position will stick around, and everything else will change. Keep in mind that Round 5 of the rookie draft will still be a part of the 2025 rookie draft, so those picks are still available to be traded. Starting in 2026, the draft will move to just 4 rounds.

The Board will go over different ideas for increased rookie contract values. When we have made a decision, an announcement will be made.
