Torn ACL recovery, no timetable for return.
Isaac (knee) is without a timetable to return to game action, David Aldridge of The Athletic reports.
Isaac has dealt with a litany of injuries to begin his NBA career -- most recently, a torn ACL suffered in the Orlando bubble back in August of 2020. The injury kept him out of the entire 2020-21 season, but the plan is for the 23-year-old to work his way back into the mix at some point in 2021-22. To begin training camp, Isaac will not participate in any full-court or full-contact work, but Aldridge notes that "it's possible" he could be cleared to take part in some drills. Firmly entrenched in a multi-year rebuild, the Magic have no reason to rush Isaac back, so he could prove to be a frustrating player for fantasy managers who choose to stash him in an IR spot to begin the season. -CBS SPORTS/ROTOWIRE
