So, should the fast guy on the phone get to pick up the player or should we use the Yahoo ranking system.

Thoughts?

My bias is toward using the Yahoo system, give everyone 24 hrs (I think) to place a claim.

I know this will annoy the Vulture squad.

No buddy, I'm the waiver king and think if this gets traction somehow it would be good. Slow us guys that are online lots down a bit hahaha. Great idea!

I doubt that this is something that would be changed for the current season, but as the new Sherriff in town, I will track how often players get claimed off waivers in the first hour, 12 hours, 24 hours so that we can have a discussion about this if it is happening enough for it to be worth changing rules over. I know that it is not really an issue in Baseball or Football, but each sport has it's own issues.

No way, why go with yahoo rankings?? This just makes people be more active and pay attention to their teams as well as the waiver wire. We have issues with managers not being active enough already, we have killed streaming players and if we add something like this it will absolutely kill all remaining activity in the league

This is a good idea overall but I don’t think it right for this league due to the work involved not worth the small improvement to the league.

CFL if teams aren’t active they should be replaced. We should not have to worry about such a matter when deciding on new rules.

I like it the way it is.

That said, I like the idea of MBD putting his analytical talents to work on this and seeing the results.

Open to discussion on it.
