David Peterson has a Jones fracture of the fifth metatarsal on his right foot.
Peterson was recently transferred from the 10 to 60-day injured list, and he was on the injured list with an oblique injury. He picked up the fracture during his rehab, and now won't be able to rejoin the Mets until the end of August.
