Looking to get some insight on this. I feel like if a rookie who is on a pro roster and not drafted in our minor draft should be eligible for free agency right away and not subject to any rookie thresholds.[/quote]

I agree, but I also think that a clear definition needs to be determined as to what "on a roster" means. Is that on the training camp roster or the final roster to start the season? Maybe a easier way to track would be to have played in a regular season game.
