I would like to see the following added to our eligibility for Free Agency Rule.
Any player who is age 26 or older and is not on another owner's Prospect Roster is eligible in Free Agency, regardless of their number of Innings Pitched or At Bats.
My reasoning is that our requirement for AB/IP is to avoid having young prospects swept up when they come up for a cup of coffee, and that makes sense (and certainly made sense in the first few years of the league, when no prospects had been drafted yet). But MLB stops showing players as "Prospects" in their Top 100 etc. since they are no longer young enough to deserve that designation. And I think that our having players who are actively playing in the majors, and playing well enough to deserve our wanting them on our rosters, but not eligible to be auctioned does not do anyone any good. We already have a similar rule regarding International Free Agents over the age of 25 being ineligible for the Prospect Draft.
A good example of this this year is Julian Merryweather, a 29 year old Reliever. Another would be Yermin Mercedes, a 28 year old DH. These guys may turn out to be flashes in the pan, but that should be a decision for our managers, they should not be prevented from making mistakes.
Please feel free to share your thoughts, things I am not considering, or unintended consequences you see that may occur.

I am in favor of this proposition to help with the thin FA pool for the league.
