I was not going to resign a nearly 30 year old RB with several past injury years to a $40 contract next year. And with the numerous reports of 3 to 6 games to 8 or 9 games or possibly 10 or more games missed due to groin injury we decided to move on. I think the trade is fair. I get 2 DP’s a rookie RB with potential to possibly over take Sankey and a tall young WR in Toon who should see bigger #s this year. We also add some cap to next season.
I will have to make a roster move in next 24 hours to make room for additional players. Move coming soon
