Canada acquires Nick Schmaltz 3 years $1.75 and Hearts 2020 3rd round pick and Hearts 2021 3rd round pick
Hearts acquires Oscar Klefbom 1 year @ $4.25
I like Schmaltz potential and the picks are what I need. |

I like Oscar's potential and at $4.25, he should be an easy resign locking in a decent D-man. The 2 - 3rd round picks were easy to part with as they don't have the same top 100 player value for at least 3 to 5 years. I was likely to miss on a deep selection not to mention my minor roster is looking full thanks to the misses i've already selected. LOL. Schmaltz was a little hard to part with but I can get the same value out of FA at the moment if I need it. His versatility (C-RW-LW) qualifications will be missed.
